black hole FullCG

Hello everyone! :) I heard for the movie Interstellar, scientists have developed a unique rendering engine. To convey the physical properties of light falling on a black hole. Renderrock collected in the evening .. I spent more time searching for a composition than on technical implementation. The recipe is pretty simple! We need only three objects: Sphere, Torus, Cylinder, and two textures: galaxy, space 360. For a start, just right, then a flight of imagination :)

We make 3 simple materials for each object. 1) Sphere: take the standard material, make the color black. We check that there are no glare, reflections. We paint the sphere (the black hole itself) with it.
